Kyle Bozeman

Television Manager

A veteran of more than 34 years in broadcasting, Kyle Bozeman has experience across the board in radio and television operations, news and production. He has produced thousands of commercial, promotional and public service announcements, television programs, direct-to-video and feature length productions, and has shot and directed programs in locations throughout North America. In addition, Bozeman has served in production and creative leadership positions in television stations in Mississippi and Alabama. In addition to his work in the broadcast industry and education, Bozeman has published a number of articles on video production in national magazines and journals, provides consulting service in the areas of video production, advertising and promotion, is frequently called upon to judge video, news and advertising competitions, and to speak on similar subjects. Bozeman holds the Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Troy University and the Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Auburn University. He returned to TROY to teach in 1996 and was named Television Manager for TrojanVision in 1998.


Anna Gooden

Multimedia Technician

Anna joined Troy University in 2006. She is a graduate of Troy University and has a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Anna was an active member of TrojanVision News as a student, working on-air and behind the scenes in graphics and directing. She facilitated videoconference classes and meetings for Troy University for 8 years before rejoining the television staff. Now Anna is responsible for shooting and editing video productions for use on Troy TrojanVision and Troy University websites and social media. She is originally from Kentucky but graduated from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. Anna is married and has two children.


Jeff Herring

Producer / Director

Jeff joined TrojanVision (then TSU-TV) in the spring of 1995 by volunteering and later becoming the Production Assistant. With a love and extensive understanding of comptuers and grahical editing. He has helped transform the graphical and technical side of the station to what we have today. During his senior year at Troy State, Jeff was also directing the Weekend 6 & 10 news for WTVY in Dothan. In 2001 he returned full time to Troy University and TrojanVision. Today, as the Producer/Director, Jeff is in charge of the production aspects of TrojanVision Nightly News as well as other video production needs of the University. Jeff has won numerous awards including Associated Press: "Best Coverage of a Planned Event", and has helped TrojanVision win numerous awards regionally as well as nationally. When not at work Jeff can usually be found enjoying the outdoors, camping, hiking, or scuba diving.


Buddy Johnson

Director: Broadcast & Digital Network

Buddy Johnson, a native of Pensacola, Florida, is a 37 year broadcast veteran. He began his career at WTBF-AM in Troy as a part-time announcer/Account Executive. After graduation from TROY with a B.A. in Music he served as an Account Executive, on-air personality and sportscaster at WKMX-FM in Enterprise and later at WHBB-WTUN Radio in Selma. In 1979 he moved into television where he worked at WSLA-TV, Selma (now WAKA-TV), as an Account Executive and on-air as a weatherman. Buddy also worked in Regional Sales at WEAR-TV in the Mobile/Pensacola market before assisting in the start-up of WDFX-TV in Dothan where he worked as National Sales Manager. In 1997 he assisted in the start-up of WTBF-FM. He served as National Sales Manager at WRJM-TV from 2000 until 2008 when he joined his alma mater, Troy University, as Director of Troy's Broadcast and Digital Network. He is also the "Voice of the Lady Trojans" basketball team.


Kawaski Nelson

Television Production Assistant

Kawaski joined Troy University's Broadcast and Digital Network in 2008. Kawaski is a native of Montgomery, Alabama but spent most of his early childhood in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School and has worked in broadcast media and audio visual technology for over ten years. Kawaski began his career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) working in Information Technology and later serving as a floor director and camera operator at Trinity Broadcasting Network. In 2008, he received his certification in audiovisual and event technology while working as lead audiovisual technician for PCH Hotels and Resorts. Kawaski is a member of the Alabama Film Office and Broadcast Music Inc. In his spare time he enjoys painting and composing music. He is also active in his local church, serving as both television producer and video editor. Kawaski is married and has two children.


Jonathan Sellers

Master Control Operator

Jonathan keeps up with Troy TrojanVision's daily programming, online scheduling and vast video archives. Jonathan is also the host of Trojan Sports Now, a weekly program that covers everything that is going on in the world of Troy University athletics. Jonathan graduated from Troy University in 2007 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During his first two years at Troy University, he was a member of the baseball team. He later hung up his cleats to fully dedicate is time to Troy TrojanVision News. While a student, Jonathan worked as a sports anchor for TrojanVision and covered numerous large events including the Trojans first trip to the New Orleans Bowl. He is originally from Mobile, Alabama where he attended St. Paul's Episcopal school and was also a member of the 2003 State Championship baseball team.


Aaron Taylor

Television Production Coordinator

Aaron graduated from Troy University in 2000 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. After spending some time working for CBS affiliate WAKA in Montgomery, Alabama Aaron returned to his Alma Mater where he has worked with the TrojanVision News Department ever since. Aaron worked for TSU-TV, as TrojanVision was known back then, as a reporter and anchor when he was a student. He was named "Best News Anchor" by the Alabama Associated Press in 2001. In addition to his duties managing the TrojanVision News Department, Aaron hosts the Trojan Talk public affairs segment that airs on the TrojanVision Nightly News. Aaron is a big Trojan sports fan and considers Troy the only college team of interest in the state. Aaron is originally from Montgomery, Alabama but now happily calls Troy his home.


Ronny Taylor

Television Production Coordinator

Ronny Taylor was born in Portsmouth, Virginia. His father spent 30 years in the Marine Corp so calling someplace home is always confusing for him. He graduated from Deshler High School in Tuscumbia, Alabama (Home of Helen Keller). Ronny has worked in television since 1992 when he enlisted in the Air Force as a combat videographer. He discharged honorably from the military in 1996 and worked as a news videographer in Wichita Fall, Texas. Ronny moved to Okinawa, Japan and worked as a creative services producer for Kadena Air Force Base TV and staff writer/photographer for Venture Magazine. While in Japan, Ronny graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in management studies. He later moved to Montgomery, Alabama and worked as creative services director at WCOV then WAKA before re-locating to Mobile, Alabama where he was the creative services producer at WKRG. He moved back to Montgomery to work for Troy University in 2008. Ronny is married and has 4 children.
